Rydell NWR is located in northwestern Minnesota and consists of approximately 2,200 acres of grassland, wetland and forest habitat. The Refuge is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to benefit migratory birds and resident wildlife species, and provides a variety of educational and recreational activities for visitors to enjoy. Glacial Ridge National Wildlife Refuge

Located in northwestern Minnesota, Glacial Ridge NWR encompasses more than 20,000 acres of restored prairie-wetland habitat. The Refuge provides crucial habitat to wildlife including sandhill cranes and greater prairie chickens, but also offers natural flood control, clean drinking water to local residents, and opportunities for outdoor recreation.
